January 22, 2009 General Meeting/Professional Development Workshop @ Langara College - room A376 Meeting Program 4:00-4:45 General Meeting: Introduce our executive member, showcase our past activities, and India Water Project (Katie, one of the founders of the club, will give us a brief presentation about the project) 4:45-6:00 Harreson Lovick who owns HR Lovick, a computer consulting and business support company is a successful business person, and he will give us a workshop " How to be a successful Business person" , students like us should equip ourselves by knowing how a business person thinks and what they have to do in order to reach their goals! March 2009 Nepali Film Festival March 29, 2009 11am-6pm Langara College For the second year in a row, Langara Rotaract will help out with the Nepali Film Festival. Last year was a huge success so we hope to build on that to make this year even better. Hope you can make it out! NEPALI FILM FEST WEBSITE Bowling Night TIME/PLACE TBA This event will be to celebrate the completion of mid-semester exams and get to know more members. April 2009 We will have two fundraisers a BBQ and a clubbing night that will raise money for the May trip to Victoria. These will both be fun social events as well!
